It is important to note that the parent company will be responsible for ensuring its subsidiaries or divisions are compliant with the licence terms.

The font licence(s) must cover:

  • The correct number of monthly page views or monthly unique users for all websites that the fonts will be used on across all subsidiaries or divisions (web fonts).
  • The correct number of active subscribers (for email marketing) and/or impressions (for dynamic web-based advertising), in addition to monthly page views or monthly unique users for all websites across all subsidiaries or divisions, if relevant to your business (web fonts).
  • The correct number of monthly active users (MAUs) or total downloads for all applications (apps) that the fonts will be used on across all subsidiaries or divisions (app fonts).
  • The correct number of monthly impressions, as per your media buy (advertising fonts).
  • The correct production budget or audience size (broadcasting fonts).
  • The correct number of devices that your company intends to produce (OEM fonts).
